Hello, just in case you forgot me, i am your disease. to all whom come in contact with me i wish you death and i wish you suffering. allow me to introduce myself i am your disease of addiction, i am cunning, baffling, and powerful trust me.

I have killed millions and I am pleased. I love to catch you with the element of surprise. i love pretending that I am your friend and lover. I have given you comfort haven't i ?, wasn't I there when you were lonley?, when you wanted to die?, didn't you call on me?, wasn't I there!. i love to make you hurt, i love to make you cry, better yet i love to make you numb so that you can not hurt or cry. i love it when you can't feel anything at all. this is true gratification and all that i ask from you is long term suffering.

I have been there for you always. when things were going right in your life, you invited me, you said you didn't deserve good things & I was the only one that would aggreed with you. together we were able to destroy all the good things in your life, people don't take me seriously, they takes strokes, heart attacks & even diabetes seriously, fools.... without my help these things wouldn't be possible.

I am such a hated disease & yet i dont come uninvited, you choose to have me, I hate all of you that have 12 Step programs, your program ,your meetings, your higher power, these weaken me & I can not function in this mannor that i am accustmed to.

now i must lay here quietly, you don't see me, but i am growing bigger than ever.when you only exist, i may live and when you live i may only exist, BUT I AM HERE!! and untill we meet again i wish you death and suffering. just for today i wish to say goodbye to my old friend....

Hey that was a really good one. It kinda reminds me of that commercial where there's a couple of movie stars - Don Rickles, etc - except they say at the end "I am a stroke". Have you seen it?

Thanks for the replys and I went thru hell to get that poem , first i wrote it down , then i typed it alot of work went into that post, but i just felt so strongly about it and wanted everyone to read it, there r more and if you'r interested let me know and i will give you the web site.... jazzy

Isnt that sick, what a concept we are sick people, how trully sick are we to keep using despite the consequences?? i will never know eaither..????

That is a great post. In fact Gina and I have both posted that here alot of times before, and actually got put down for posting it. lmao We were once told that we didn't need to keep posting the literature etc. that we pick up at meetings! lol
