my sister has been clean for 11 yrs but has now relapsed, she is now living in a drug den with aload of black men she is in debt with them and she is having to sell there drugs and i fear they have got her on the game, she lies and lies and phones me for money saying "things like i have lost my rent money, can you lend me 300 and ill pay you back but she never does. now i can never get hold of her i ring her mobile but some one else answers and says no one of that name here sorry what can i do????????????? im at my wits end please can some one advise me!?
First of all there is no need to preface your sisters problem by explaining "she is with a" load of black men." Addiction is f**ckin color blind
Put down the phone and go over & confront her in person.It sounds like she isnt going to get ahold of you any time soon,so maybe its up to you.

Now about your sister,it was her who went or got involved with the wrong people first,no one made her,or forced her.She was clean for a long time,to say that it was the first couple of weeks/months of her rehabilatation and she relapsed cause it was still fresh in her head.That's not the case,she knew what she was doing and getting herself into.
I would like to ask you what kind of drug is she hooked on,cause where I come from,when your with black people it's cause your doing Freebase Cocaine.I'm from Montreal,Quebec,Canada,over here,we have no black heroin junkies,in all my 13yrs of using before,I never saw a black junkie,just one and it's cause he was doing so much cocaine that he did heroin to get down from coke.Mind you I've been clean for the past 11yrs now so thing's might have changed,who knows.
I will tell you what everyone will:"You can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves!!!!!"
All you can do is let her know that you are there if she ever decides she wants out again,that you will always love her no matter what,but that you will not contribute to her using.
That is all you can do.
If you want you can also go to the Family/Partner's part of this site,there are alot of people who are or have went through exactly what your going through.
I can't tell you much more I'm afraid cause to me that is all you can realy do,if she doen't want it then your hands are tied I'm afraid.
I soppose she has never started a phone conversation with,"I NEED HELP",I soppose it's always with an excuse or lie to get some money outta you.

If you think something is not normal,or your afraid for her life find out the real facts first before you go to the police,cause where I come from the cops are scared of the gangs and they rather not get involved,and also if the gangs,cause black or white there are good people and bad in all race or colour,I should know since I'm a person who loves everyone nomatter their colour and I have alot of friends from diffrent countries.Before doing something that might turn ugly and risk getting your sister killed,see what else you can or cannot do.
I'll give you an example,two days ago there was a bust inside the prison and the prison guard that snitched or something,didn't think nothing of it,just another day at work,well last night his wife got stabber in her home when the gang did a house invation and stabbed her 10 times in the back.
Think long and hard before doing something that you will regret for the rest of your life.....

First off I hope this girl is O.K. as well as finds her sister. Without even knowing post helped me. GOTTA KEEP IT GREEN. I got two years and all that awful stuff seems to fade far away and you're left with the euphoric, pleasure heroin brings, and whoops ummm, I lost my rent money, and whoops it's 100 degrees, and my dealer ain't nowhere to be found so I'm in an alley somewhere getting sick and praying please let there be enough bags, and please let this guy hurry up, and please let it don't be a beat bag, and please don't let me get shot.
O.K. so enough of me. Widow, by you explaining the choice of drugs by different races I absolutely agree. East Coast almost exclusively crystal meth is a white, suburbanm type soccer mommy drug. Unfortunately, I picked a drug that encompasses many races therefore bringing ya into neioghborhoods where yer white hiney glows. Sitting duck. Then ya got yer crack which tends to be more of a black thing here. What I have seen anyway.
Jack is way right as far as drugs not discriminating. No class, religion or race. Although I think we've had this discussion here before. I'm lower middle white class. I was raised never knowing anyone outside of my own race, and if I saw my sister with a dozen black men I'd have described just as so. If they were Hmong same thing. If they were white I'd just say a dozen guys.
I think she meant no harm at all and can see that no matter what her sister needs help. Holy camolie guacamole, man diming out da dealer is a huge NO NO. That's a damn shame for that guards family. Drugs ruin everyone's lives.
I'm hoping she don't be calling the coppers or running up like a super hero to save the sister. Man, I can not fathom that heartache and frustration. Just all bad. Nonthing good comes of it all.

If we were talking about my sister, I would tell her that I know what's going on and I love her and I'm worried. I would tell her that I've got her back no matter what. I would tell her that if she's in a situation that she can't see her way out of, then she could stay with me as long as she wanted. (sometimes, I've felt trapped in certain situations) It may seem clear to you that she can just walk away. It may not be that clear to her. You could offer to drive her to re4hab. Be sure to tell her you'll be there for her while she's in rehab and then make sure you do. I was always afraid to go to rehab. Who'd feed my dog? What would I do for cigarettes? Would I be homeless when I left? Would I have to go back to "the black guys" because my family was fed up with me? These are all things an active addict is going to think about. Your sister,s self-esteem is probably non-exsistant. Also,don't call the police!!!!!! That's the worse thing you could do for your sister. Do you think your local Police Dpt. gives a flying #%$& about your sister? She'll get busted right along with "the black guys"! It sounds like your sis has enough troubles. She don't need legal troubles too. Not to mention if she's involved with rough types, they might think she got them busted and they might go after her. PEACE, Shirley
thanks for all your comments i,m starting to see the " bigger picture " its very hard watching a loved one deteriate in front of you. I was wrong in saying that she is with a bunch of blacks (apoliges) it seem that all i can do is be there for her when the end comes ...............

your sisters very lucky to have a brother that loves and cares for her as you do... I went down to south london and had to tell my mum and brother i was on heroine and i needed help, the next day i was kicked out of the house and told to go and sort my life out. I dont think i will ever forgive them for them turning their backs on me when i needed them the most...if i was you i would wait for her to come to you when shes ready, i believe that given time she will do.... anyone with any sense can see you never meant any harm saying blacks, it was just you explaning the situation thats all, but these men could be very dangerous and im sure your sister dont want any harm to come to you, how pissed off with my brother i am i would not want any harm comming to him.. good luck, i hope your sister sees sense soon. the worse thing you can do is keep giving her money, its not for your sister its going straight into her dealers pocket, your feeding her habbit... its not like she has been of the drugs for a short while, its years so she knows exac what she is playing at.. shes not rattling, shes not in pain...that is enough time to turn your back and never go down that road again.. I hope shes not selling herself coz these men dont care about her their just seeing $$$$ signs. good luck, tracie x
