Tina- We all have our own "Silent Spring"
Thanks, Tina. I needed to hear that! I was watching my little granddaughter tonight. She is CRAZY about her uncle and I'm sure she's wondering where he is but she's only 13 1/2 months old so she can't understand. While she was sitting in her highchair eating her supper, I said to her, "Let's throw a kiss to Uncle Harry and ask God to give it to him for us." She smiled at me and threw a big kiss. I'm entrusting God to send our love to him.

I found out that when Harry went into the county prison, a needle fell out of his pocket. I have no idea how he had that concealed when they searched him. They said that they transferred him to another block because of the incident, but they have him on 15 minutes checks because of withdrawal and they said they give something to make him more comfortable but wouldn't say what. Most of you know what he's going through. Please pray for his endurance of this pain. He also doesn't do well with separation from those he loves. I have no doubt this will be horrible for him but the only way to keep him safe at this point.

Has anyone on here ever tried hypnosis after detox? The reason I'm asking is that I don't think hypnosis itself would work because you still have to work through getting it out of your system, but I'm thinking hypnosis could possiblyremove the memory of how great the feeling is. Am I being stupid? At this point, I think it would be worth a try.

I can't believe this is only one day! It seems like it's lasted an ETERNITY! I miss him so much!

Thanks again everyone for your love and support at this VERY DIFFICULT time!

Love,
Susan

Hi Susan,
Thank god for your grand-daughter......she will keep you sane. My husband said to our little one tonight (17mo) hey try to wake up earlier so that you can come sleep with mommy and daddy. He has been having problem sleeping but when she is with us it relaxes him and he falls to sleep. Of course she crashed out on the couch so she will be her daddy tonight. Soon as she makes one peep in the crib he jumps up and grabs her......bad habit he is getting her into.
As for the hyponsis my husband wants to try to see if it can do something with pain.....Don't know if it would take the cravings away, but I guess anything is possible if the mind is easily manipulated. You should try to google search hypnosis and drug cravings. See what you find. I would search for as much info as possible before trusting what someone who does it says. There are some shrinks that use it for trama cases......you could look into that too, they would have the experience in a clinical way. If you get some good info post about it,I'll will do the same if I find anything interesting. Try to get some rest you and your husband....
God is watching.......he always watches over his children.......
Tina
Dear Tina,
Our daughters and granddaughters have certainly helped us get through this, especially Angelina because she is real energetic and bubbly. She loves to mimic people right now and you can't help but laugh at her even when you're really down. Rebekah warms your heart with her shy smile. What is your daughter's name?
My husband is afraid that our son won't want to have anything to do with us when he comes out because he might feel like we turned our backs on him. I sure hope not but it's a chance I have to take unfortunately.
Oh, by the way, my daughter found an interesting message on our cell phone (our son was using it). It was from his girlfriend. She told him it was urgent for him to wake up and get this message. She said that she didn't know if he could get a car or not (borrow without asking), but if he couldn't they could use hers she guesses. She told him to get a hold of Eddie because she's not doing too good. She had dark circles under her eyes when she came here. Looked much better the next day for some reason. See, I don't know who to believe. Probably neither one of them!
You made me feel more peaceful about going to bed. I place him in God's loving hands and ask him to ease his pain and let him feel loved. Thanks and God bless!
Love,
Susan
