Yikes,

I just got done teaching CCD to 7 second grade boys and I REALLY want a drink or a pill. I'm tired, don't feel like going to that 6:15 beginners meeting. Rather sit in a parking lot with a bottle and a magazine! PATHETIC.

DOES IT GET EASIER??????????????

I'm trying. I leave for the meeting in 15 minutes after dropping two of my kids off at practice. I can make it. I can make it. I can make it.

You made it! I am so proud of you, going to a meeting and all! Since you're not totally new to the Program, dig deep and use some of those tools you know you have...don't worry about what anyone thinks about you being a "Retread" - getting sober, then going out...that's just your ego trying to do that pride in reverse stuff...as it is said in the Traditions, our primary purpose is to carry the message to the still suffering alcoholic...that's not a direct quote, but you already know this...most people are there to save their own lives, are on a court card or whatever....you just worry about you and it's none of your business what anyone else thinks about you....you are trying to save your life, one day at a time!
