I Told Some One The Truth ~

You all know that no one knows that I am an addict but my husband.
I am sitting here with my best friend, and I just told her everything!
It is a bit of relief! It has always been hard for me to open up to people.
She is very understand and is so glad that I trusted her enough to tell her.
Her name is Madison. I let her read some of the post so she knows what I am going trough!

Marina,
I think that is great. The more people that you have supporting you the better.
Did you tell her how strong you are and how hard you are working......to keep yourself clean? If not I just did. I think you are doing a great job and you should be proud of yourself. One day at a time......remember thats how you take it!
Hugs,
Tina
Marina,
Hows the sub going and what your date on stopping, just wondering how you still doing on it. Sorry if you already said somewhere today, I was real busy and havent spent much time on the board.

That's great Marina! So often fear keeps us from moving forward in life. I read of folks here who are afraid of going to an NA/AA meeting, or of doing what you did...telling someone close to you of your addiction. Or of other fears. We all have them, (I sure do), but true progress in life is made when we face our fears head-on. It's so great when we get support from others. I mean, think about it, wouldn't you do the same for your friend? Way to go! Jim
I don't even have the to think about my best friend Madison is apart of me !!!
She is apart of my family !! You guys are a family to me too.
