Hope everyone had a nice weekend. The boards have been pretty quiet so that must be good news. Everyone was out busy and enjoying life!

I had a nice weekend. My honey was in Mexico again with his buddies for his birthday so I had the whole weekend alone. This time alone went much better than last time. Got all of the chores I had been procrastinating about done! It's amazing how good it feels to just accomplish little meanial things. LOL..If I was still getting smashed I wouldn't even be up now I would probably still be passed out or throwing up or taking my first drink of the day to just "get level". I am thankful to have woken up feeling great.

Hi Ginge.....Yeah he loves Mexico. He and "The Boys" as they call themselves always go down there for birthdays. They fish and do whatever boys do. LMAO....I imagine it is kind of like Las Vegas. What happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas. LOL...Have a great day too Ginge!

Howdee do Rach......Yeah it is balls hot isn't it? Luckily we have airconditioning that that doesn't help the humidity. No I haven't had my surgery yet. I get it on 9/14. I have to go to my GP first and get blood work and the all clear because of my pancreas problems. I think it will be all good because I don't drink anymore and that was the only time I had elevated enzymes. Oh well...thanks for asking. Have a great Sunday and try to keep cool.

Back atcha Val...geez, is it thundering and lightening in the OC right now...trippy weather! I too, have been, busy all weekend and there is a big benefit fund raising event at a resto on the pier for a local sober living house beginning late this afternoon and into the night...we may end up going to that, but I've got a couple of more errands to run and I need to get my daily meeting in! Have a good rest of Sunday (weekends are just too short aren't they?)

Hey Val and everyone, hope everyone is well. I had a good weekend, took my rabbit to the vet Saturday to get his nails trimmed, I had to hold him and he scratched my chest up good, I think he thought the tech was trying to cut his feet off and sell 'em to a souveneir shop! Yesterday had brunch with a friend and her kids, we took the little ones down to the creek and watched them splash around. Glad you had a good weekend without the H Val, I've never been married or lived with anyone (it's kind of a phobia of mine, LOL) so I value my alone time sooo much... couldn't imagine having someone around 24/7! Glad you got a lot done. Hope everyone is having a great day or evening wherever you happen to be...

I'm not married either. We have been together over 9 years so we might as well be. I am gonna start pressing him at 10 years. LOLOLLMAO. I don't really care if I get married. As long as I am okay if something ever happens to him which I am then it really doesn't matter. I have a fabulous diamond ring..so I'm good. HAHA....

Hey Val, yep, my bunny is totally insane but I love him... consider him kissed! I don't have any pics right now except a couple in which I was wasted (big surprise, huh?), I will have to see if someone can take some for me. My best friend is coming over tomorrow night, I'll see if he can bring his camera with him. Of course I'll probably have to have someone else post it for me too, I'm pretty clueless about it myself.

Nine years huh? That must make you common-law... here in CO it's only 2 years of cohabitation! My sister is the only one of us who's been married (she's on #2 but got it right this time, LOL), aside from my brother who passed away... my other 2 brothers spent 9 and 10 years respectively in live-in relationships but they're both single now. I've never had a diamond, my sister has enough for us both with the engagement ring, anniversary band, etc. I wouldn't ever totally nix the idea of marriage but it would take an awfully special dude... I am very protective of my independence!
