Just wanted to say hello to all of you. I was busy all weekend. Idgie how did your trip go to the parents? I was in Nevada for the weekend. The weather was beautiful and hot. VW, I am soooo tired of the June Gloom in So Cal.

Hi Valarie, I haven't been posting toomuch lately, partly b/c I've been crazy busy, partly b/c I've been drinking, but haven't had anything at all in 2 days & haven't gotten toasted in 3 so doing better than I was. Anyway good to see you finally got yourself a full-on username with avatar & everything. I always look forward to your posts, you have some great things to say. I am in Colorado and it's HOT, HOT, HOT here - 97 degrees today and it's not even summer yet! It might be OK if we had an ocean, but no such luck - lotsa mountains, but no ocean :(. Anyway, good day to you, and cheers to you from me...

Yes, I finally figured out how to sign completely in. I'm glad to see you are back on track. It sucks when we fall off the wagon but even harder to stay on the wobbly b****** isn't it?. So you are in Colorado? I have family-in-law in Montrose, Telluride and Ridgway. My parents just moved from Denver to Las Vegas. Where abouts are you in Colorado? I read your posts too. It is just amazing to me how everyone on this site is soooo supportive and never judgemental. I settled on this site after many failed attempts at many others. I think some sites are just for people to judge others just so they feel better about themselves. Glad to have found all of you though.

Welcome back Valarie! Hello to you Ciaobella! Yes, SoCal is in its depressive mode with this gloomy weather, hopefully sunny weather is right around the corner from July through October ~ usually that's how it happens around here at least. I too, have relatives in Colorado (Evergreen) and a friend in Parker. Glad to see you gals posting.

Good morning all... I am in beautiful Boulder, CO at the foot of the Rockies. It's quite a nice town, although the summer heat is already intense and it won't even be summer yet for a week. Can't imagine how August is going to be! But it's great to live so close to the mountains. I have a friend who lives in Parker, also one from Evergreen who lives here now, and several in Denver. Denver's a cool place, though definitely not the metropolis some people expect. I've never been to any of the mtn resort towns like Aspen, Vail, Telluride etc, other than Breckenridge (nice little tourist town) and Estes Park (well worth it for Rocky Mtn Natl park!) VW I've never been to California, SO want to go! A good friend of mine moved to SF a while back and I'm hoping to visit her, & maybe we can drive south so I can see more of Cali. And as an east coast transplant, I really miss the ocean!

Ciaobella ~ it's nice where I live...close to the beach, but it is so crowded...traffic is horrible! I've been to Georgetown, CO ~ it a little town where they sell antiques.
Jayde ~ I have friends who live in WI...I've never been to the Mid-West or the East coast...I'd love to visit those places some day.
Idgie ~ How's that hand...I'd also like to visit where you live, heck I'd like to visit anywhere right now ~ I want to do a "geographic" and get away from the job, my kids, my ex-husband ~ just for a couple of days!
