Hi Valarie and everyone else too! How's everyone? I've got water!!! Woohoo! Life is good! Just got home from a meeting not too long ago and heard the messages of recovery that are vital in keeping me sober one day at a time. Time for bed for me pretty soon...
How's things everyone? as ginge said it is pis*ing down rain at moment more than 120mill in 24hr period so off to lake house(sister & bro inlaws) for weekend. Have to check that Ginge didn't leave any maps of australia in a certain roomLMAO. Bloody hell i'm just as excited about ginge meeting VWG & Rach as he is. Again i want to say thanks to you all for your support of Ginge and us all because he is a top bloke. Be proud Ginge Kia Kaha brother the world is your oyster.

I too have been super busy at work and since I still have no internet at home I haven't been able to post much, but have been trying to pop in. After our rainy weekend here it is back to hot, hot, hot weather, I can't sleep at night without the fan blowing directly on me. Im good ta, as you can see from my last post had coffee with my friend VW!
I am very tired now as been up forever it seems!
I got up at 3.00 am nz time and slept a bit on the plane, now it would be 14.00 nz time but the following day!

Hey Val, CO is not bad, just very very hot!! It's in the 90's here, I biked to work this morning and wanted another shower by the time I got here. And the tourists are out in full force, can't turn a corner without seeing someone with a map, camera and fanny pack, LOL. Still can't decide which I prefer: students or tourists, if it's not one its the other...

Biked to work???? My lord you are ambitious. I hate walking to the mailbox. Maybe that is the problem with me. I need to get those exercise endorphins goin'! My problem is, when I work out once I start to sweat or feel tired...I stop! LOLOLOL LMAO! I hate exercising. I do it but I hate it. You see those people at the gym that are all smiling and loving the sweat and I just wanna smack them off the elliptical machine! Ha ha. I would never do it but I definately think it.
There are lots of tourists in NV at this time too. During the winter we call them snowbirds....or near deads. LOL.. Right now it is all the families vacationing and college students coming to ski on the Colorado River. Balls that river is cold that you sent us!!! Have a good day my friend.

Actually Val, Ginge only got to meet me...Rachel had something else going on...but it was really good to meet him and like I said feel like I've known him forever. Hope you are doing well. I'm having internet problems and I'm taking off for Big Bear tomorrow (Friday) and won't be back till Sunday evening ~ I'll check back in with you then.

Val, hope your day is going well too... I bike to work pretty much whenever weather permits, I hate to exercise & biking a lot gives me a grand excuse to avoid other forms of exercise, LOL. Ditto hiking. Bloody hot today though, 100+ degrees and no cooldown expected anytime soon... the ride home will be a miserable 5 miles but there is a whole pitcher of iced tea waiting for me in the fridge! Thank heaven for small favors, eh? :)

Hi all.....VW I know you are supposed to be in Big Bear. Did it go as planned even with the fires up there? I hope so. Hope you had fun and no traffic delays. My hubby flew through the Banning pass today coming back from our house in Laughlin and he said there were TFR's (temporary flight restrictions) everywhere because of all the fires. Let me know about your trip up there.
