I understand rae's thinking .. sort of like giving clean condoms to kids to prevent aids but this is different in that ... to post that here where it can be a trigger for other on a slippery slope... that was what made me mad...

everyones assuming the original posters intent is misleading. maybe it honest, maybe not, & i know Rae Raes, (sorry if i mispelled ) is also. this might or might not be the right website, & i wouldn't feel real comfortable instucting someone on the right or wrong way to shoot up safely who i don't know. that is kind of scarry, even if your trying to help someone. I gotta think a better place would be some kind of aides prevention place or something like that. This whole topic is dangerous to all, the asker who doesn't know who she's taling to , the reader who gets triggered, & the answerer who is not a Dr. who can easiy communicate. If you honestly , truelly want safety help for him, don't do it the lazy way. find a proper source. This is coming from a non user but loved one of a user. I think it safe to say that is no SAFE way to shoot up oxycontin. For all this guy knows he aleady is and is probably using heroin.
I just read that 85% of heroin addicts die from the disease. That means they overdose. If this person is so concerned as to come to this board than maybe he should keep reading and find some inspiration. When he posts next time hopefully it will be in trying to help himself. That was weird. A safe way to shoot up an illegal narcotic? Let that remind us all that while anyone is using they really don't think clearly. Hang in there all. I am pulling for you. Does anyone know the safe way to force your boyfriend into staying clean? That would maybe help.

I know u mean well & maybe are mostly right about what you say, but the areas you are talking about are much more grey then you realize, really, and be careful with the BS statistics that people present. I am in know way advocating H use or anything like that, but honest understanding of a difficult problem , disease , society & a politacal, legal & crimianl system that makes it much worse via laws & lies.
I can pretty confidently say that 85 % of h users don't die, unless you want to put in the same context as 100% of people die. By the way, there really isn't that much difference between OC addiction & H other then maybe the clean pharmaceutical nature of oc (personally , I found OC's nastier, & grabbing u a lot quicker)
