I used to be a member to the drugabuse support board, but now that website has changed for the worse canceling their message board as I beleive. Anyhow I am addicted to Oxycontin and have been for about two years. In the last several months is has started to get out of control. I have been snorting about 160 mg a day. Although my question has to do with one of my friends who is also a addicted like me. Anyhow I was in his room the other day and found a syringe laying on the desk. To get to the point he is planning on shooting up Oxy. I know how dangerous this can be. If their is anyone who does this regulary it would be very helpful if you could provide a step by step procedure as in how much water to use and anything else and the amounts. Id at least like to make sure he is doing the right thing if i can't get him to change his mind. If their is anyone out their please help!
Are you kidding me with this? We don't tell you how to safely use drugs, we tell you how to safely QUIT using drugs. Get your friend to a meeting or at least to detox. You might want to think about checking in with him.

as a long time heroin user that use to shoot, i can tell you shooting up is stupid as it comes. shooting oxy's will kill you (well i guess shooting anything will kill you). but if you chose to do it atleast do it safely. here is a web site that should help you.

Thanks for your help sorry about the post, it wont happen again. I think I have convinced him he will kill himeself and to just stick with blowing it unless he stops. Anyhow is shooting oxy any more dangerous than shooting heroin?
