My friend tells me that there are different grades of percocet and some are stronger than others (i.e., pills that say "endocet" are weakest, followed by pills that read "512", then by ones that have a "545" on them). I think this is crap...does anyone know for sure? I mean if they all contain 5/325...isn't it the same? Also, he says the blue percocet he rec'd in the hospital is stronger and again I tend to disagree.....any thoughts?
YEA MY THOUGHTS ARE THIS IS A BOARD FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO STOP DOING DRUGS AND NOT A BOARD TO GET INFORMATION TO GET A STRONGER OR MORE POTENT PILL,THE WEB SITE YOU WANT IS WWW.HILLBILLEY.COM..............VINNY.
Vinny,
With that boner of yours, comes wit....your funny.......Briar

Why such rudeness?
Not meaning to be rude, he knows what I mean......
Briar, I wasn't implying that you were rude. I thought his reply to me was a little harsh that's all.
I didn't, but maybe I'm missing the point of the question.... For the life of me I can't see how knowing the answers to those questions is going to help yours, or anyone else's, recovery? Unfortunately, I also suspect that talking about the size, shape, and potency of various pills could be a trigger to many addicts trying to get or remain clean. M.
I'm new to this board so no one needs to listen to me, but it sure sounds like all you care about is finding the strongest pill available. Either that or you have some pills in your hot little hand that you're not quite sure how strong they are and are wondering how many you can take without od'ing. Whatever the reason - you're not here for recovery - so leave.
DEAR KL63,MAYBE I READ YOU POST WRONG I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION YOU WAS LOOKING FOR ADVICE ON WHAT PILL WOULD BE MORE STRONGER SO NEXT TIME YOU GET YOUR HOOKUP YOU WOULD HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE TO GET THE MORE POTENT PILL,SORRY IF I MISSUNDERSTOOD YOU,AND BRIAR MY BONER IS DOING JUST FINE,THANK YOU FOR ASKING,TALK TO YOU LATER........VINNY
KL..don't take it to heart... you're new and haven't figured out yet that, questions like that are triggers for some of us. Geesh guys, give her a break.
If you need that question answered I would think your pharmacist could do that.
Me? I dont' have a clue and thank God, I don't care anymore!!!!
Have a great day

Dear KL63,
I think Cowgirl answered your question in a nutshell. Asking a pharmacist would be appropriate.
I think I understand your question, in the context within it was framed; however, going into detail about opioids can trigger a person to have thoughts of using again.
With that out of the way, how are you? How far along are you in the process of recovering from opioids, if you have detoxified. Whether you have, haven't, or are still thinking about stopping, we'll all be here to offer you hope, support, and inpiration, KL63. We've all been there, and we're all in this together.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Ben

In reply to Mommy = I have not had a pill for 7 days and have no pills in my "hot little hands". I was simply trying to get an answer so I could shut my friend up because I am pretty much convinced that all are the same. Like the rest, I am here for recovery, but I am only human and have relapsed in the past.
Hi KL:
Welcome to the board and congrats on seven days clean!

Dear KL63,
Let me apologize if I jumped to any conclusions regarding your initial post. With the added detail in your last post, I understand the question that you posed.
7 days without opioids, perhaps 8, now, is fantastic. This must be an extremely hard time for you, especially if your friend is asking you questions about brand and generic medications. For all any of us know, this could be a trigger for you.
You are absolutely right, KL, we are all human, and we all make mistakes. I'd like to welcome you to the board, too, and hope that any of the comments that were made, have not swayed you from leaving this forum. There are so many great people here. People with great experience and expertise, and we're all in this together. So many of us have been where you are, and we all know how quickly relapse can occur without a support net.
Once again, congratulations. My thoughts and prayers are with you, KL.
