Is He Buying Drugs Off Wish.com?!!

Hey everyone!
My finance has been clean for about a year now but he recently went away for work on the east coast and I have been noticing mood swings and him sleeping a lot. Tonight he mentioned he bought some stuff on wish.com which I thought was really strange. I went to look at his order confirmation and he bought 3 leather wallets (from separate buyers) and some plastic containers along with a key that turns into a knife??? The total only came out to $13 which makes it even weirder. He never would just randomly order a wallet from and app or the other random thins. They are shipping from China and will take about 3 weeks. Has anyone had any experience with this?? Its just really unusual. He also has a past of ordering oxy from Craigslist so thats why I find it sketchy but the price is throwing me off. Any advice would help!
Thanks!!
Hey Kate!!

Good questions. I never heard of wish.com. And, you are right; the amount of $13 seems strange for a drug buy. It also sounds strange for the purchase of several wallets. But I've learned to trust my gut. If it doesn't sound right, it probably isn't right. And what you described doesn't sound right. Definitely sounds like he is up to something of a questionable nature.

Now the questions become: what do you do with your suspicions? Do you become Super Sleuth to ferret out the truth? Do you share your concerns? Will he be receptive to this type of an intervention? Or, will he become defensive and more secretive? Will he make you feel guilty that you don't trust him? How do you confirm what your Spidey Senses are telling you? And, of course, what does all of this mean for you and your relationship with him? Can you still trust him with these doubts?

Sorry that I have so many questions and no answers.

Sending hugs,
Lynn

Hi, I dont think he would have to go to all the trouble of ordering from China when drugs are readily available in America. I know of ones ordering on line from Mexico. Wish.com sells a load of cheap junk. People go on expecting things to turn out good and they end up being awful. Go on and look at the wallets for sale around that price. I dont think hes getting the drugs from there. I know your engaged to this guy but tread carefully if you dont trust him. Take care, Mary.
We caught my son trying to order spice from China, and they get around it because it clearly said online that it was potpourri not for human consumption. Also, I talked to a cop who said they try to ferret out these places but they pop up shop and then dismantle so as not to be caught.

I have to say, in my opinion, it does not sound like anything with drugs. I can't see how ordering wallets would end up with drugs. That would seem rather complicated to do business. But, who knows. I can't believe the things we have found out going through this with our son.
