Is It Ok To Drink An N/a Beer?

Or should a person just stay away from anything that might trigger endorphines that might cause a person to start drinking again.?
ginny, what's a trigger for you might not be a trigger for others. by the way you wrote your question, you may have answered it yourself.

hang in there . . . and don't let your addiction talk you into picking up. the alcohol addiction will tell you all kinds of things and it will lie to you every time. in your heart, you know you want to be free of it.
Hi Ginny,
I agree with BobB....thinking you may have answered your own question....
hang in there you can do it!!!
God bless
gina :)
ginny i agree with what you said..maybe its best just to stay away from that all togehter. i am an alcoholic and an addict.ive been an alcoholic since i was 13 and an addict to crack for 5 or 6 years...i tried the na beer once..after that i was at my local neighborhood bar..didnt work for me...
N/A beer has not made me want to drink. I usually will have one and for me I think it is part of habit. I don't drink one every day but sometimes I will come home and feel like I need the ritual, not necessarily the buzz. I usually have one or don't even finish one and then I'm OK. My soon to be ex-husband though when he's not drinking will sit and drink a 6 pack of N/A beer. He hasn't completely quit drinking but this has helped him drink much less of regular beer. I suppose it all depends on the individual and you'll have to decide for yourself. Hope this helps.
Ginny, one of things I learned in AA from other people is that NA does
have some alcohol in it.So it is of course your choice. When I heard that
I didn't buy any again.Tomtomdoan3@yahoo.com
