BlueToo,
Please don't give up on yourself. It is never to late.Myhusbnd has been a meth addict for 11 yrs. He is 43 yrs old. Out of those 11yrs, I was unaware of his addiction for 7yrs. He is now in rehab, & having a difficult time with "flare ups". I have 3 kids 16,15 & 9yrs old. Me & my oldest son go to a support group to help us deal with his addiction. It has really helped us. If you could find a NA or AA meeting to attend I strongly recommend it. You will see that you are not in this alone. The support they give each other is remarkable. Please continue to post & watch out for 'JustOneMore' posts, he is a wonderful man that can help you. Read his posts & you will see...recovery does happen. Take care of yourself & God Bless

Hi Bluetoo,
I feel your pain. It is never too late. It is not easy getting sober and being in recovery, but it is not easy being addicted to meth either. I will take recovery over my addiction no doubt in my mind and I used for 20 years. Read through the posts alot of great information. People going through the same thing you are. There is hope recopvery happens and there is life after meth. People are only as good as the information they have and until they learn new information they are going to continue to do the same thing over and over. Addiction is painful and although there is no magic pill or cure there is recovery and you can learn to live without the drugs and have a great life. However, it take doing the footwork getting into the solution and fine other ways to solve your problems. Good luck to you. Fight for your life because you have the power to change it into anything you want it to be. IT IS NEVER TO LATE TO SAVE YOUR LIFE FROM THIS EVIL DRUG CALL METHAMPHETAMINES.
Love and support,
RCOVERY HAPPENS

I know what you are feeling blue,.....exactly.I am 50, raised two girls, have been doing drugs since I was 15.Gave up all of them except weed and speed when I was 30. I had tried many times to quit meth but never could.I posted somewhere in here a couple links to websites that explain the effects of meth, I will look for them and post again for you in this for you. They explain how depression is a common symptom of continued use. You might want to talk with your doc about your depression. There is hope for you , dont quit on yourself. You didnt get to feeling this way overnight, dont expect for it all to go away that fast.I am at 39 days since I last used. Recovery IS possible.,..It is not easy but it is possible!!! you just have to WANT it, ........feel free to ask whatever you want,......or just spout off about how you are feeling, there are some very caring, and good people here on all sides of the addiction problem, with the same goal,.........understanding, and beating addiction to meth,
