Last year my daughter began experimenting with drinking--mostly vodka at a friend's house.
She says it ended last July, 2017.
Today we found two clear containers with almost empty jello shots under a seat in the car.
They were not moldy or dried up at all, but she swears they were from last July!
We are not drinkers, so we have no frame of reference for how long these might actually last in a car that has been in all of the heat of last summer.
Common sense tells me that jello molds, even in the fridge-let alone in the car.
Advice?
Quit playing detective and ask? It's tough business trying to control other people--makes it difficult for them not to lie, too.
If you want to know, ask. What would you do if she WAS drinking, anyhow? Drunks are better at what they do, i.e., lie and conceal, than you are at detective work. Take her to an Open AA Meeting.
