well i finely got, back sergure, its been 10years, with siadaca, they fixed the nerves, im praying it takesbut im in so much pain i could cry, the gave perks but they don,t work on me becuse iv built up such a tolerns, to them, i was taking to oxys and they do work, so i don,t now way the change, ill give it a few days, if they don,t work, ill have to go back to doct, i could not sleep, i can,t get cunfy, i am a high,energe person, so i have to make myself slow downe, has enyone else had back suerger, our if your up, we could post. thanks karen.

Karen, You need to talk to your doctor if the pain is that bad. Let him know what is going on. I have a bad back so I know the pain it can cause but I haven't had surgery on it yet. Hope you can find some relief. Shantel
I started using because of sciatcia pain however mine was never bad enough to warrant as much as I took. It does bother me when I sit for a long time or walk for a while but it is tolerable now. My doctor sent me to a million specialist. The chiropractor was a quack. I actually went to him because I wanted my doctor to "beleive" me and give me more pills but when I went to him I acted like it hurt and he is telling me " oh yea I can feel how your back is spasing" yea right!!! As addicts we become so good at deceit dont we?
Anyway when it was really bad it was one of the most painful things I ever went thru so I do feel for you. I agree I would check with the doctor maybe he can give you something for the breakthru pain with the percs??? If you do wait a few days you may find you are feeling better. I can't believe you can even be on the computer right now. Also how about getting a sleep aid if you sleep the next few days you won't feel the pain so bad just a thought. Hang in

THANKS YOU GUYS, that makes me feel better, yea im in a lot off pain, i wish thedoct, would have giving me somthing for breakthrou pain, iv giving my meds to hubby, better in his hands then mine, plusethey don,t do mush enyways, well thats what happens, when you get a hight tolerons like i have, big mistake, so im trying to behave myself, bob, is getting a little pissed at me, for not, sitting all the time. i have a hardtime, sitting all the time, thats not me, even without meds, im to,going to try and nap, in the day, well thats it for me, thanks again, love karen.
Hi Karen, wishing you a speedy recovery. On both your back surgery and your addiction. Tell me if I am wrong but, is your husband not also an addict. He is holding your meds??? Not a good idea. Its time that you got real honest with your doctor and told him everything.
Opiates will actually make your pain worse. You are in a tough situation but I think its dangerous that you and your hubby are in control of your meds...you guys need help!

yes keekee, my hubby and i are booth adices, but, my hubby is working hard, at his recovory, and im also, i don,t no if you have ever had back problems, i have had siadica, for 10years, now and it is vary painful, and so having this suerger, was the writ move, so im not on pain pills for the rest off my life, ive had 8hours sleep in 2days now becuse off thepain, im taking what my doct wants me to take you can,t get away with advil, with this kind off pain, i guess i get the feeling you are jujeing me, i now i just spealed that wrong, im taking my meds the writ way, im in to much pain not too, and not binging able to sleep does not help, well i hope you have a goodday, karen.
Karen, I just read kee-kees post to you and I didn't get the feeling she was judging you. What I took from it was she is concerned about you. You said you husband is an addict but is trying really hard. Do you think it is fair of you to ask him to hold your pills.That would be like asking my grandbaby to hold her bottle but not to drink it when I know she is hungry..
