I think the first book I can even remember getting interested in and finishing was those dumb a** VC Andrew books.
I have made up for it in my old age.
My daughter loves to read the box car kids and babysitters club, i really encourage it.

Sorry to hear about the food poisoning thing. Make your wife be nice while you are ill (lol!) I think thc is soluble in alcohol, though I know that is not an option for you.Ok never did the test strip thing so I don't have a clue how long that will take, thanks for you info!

Yes I definetly read all the Nancy Drew mysteries! I am the reading nerd of all nerds. Its why I love my puter soo much! Endless reading available. lol I also read the babysitters club BUT my very favorite books where The Great Brain series by John Fitzgerald. They're about a little boy named Tom who is the Great brain & I read them over & over. Oh wait theres also all the books by Madeline L Engle Starting with The Wrinkle in Time. Oh those were soooo good too! My mom always read in front of us & she alwasy tried to slip away to the tub with her book. Don't you know only one of us out of 6 kids doesn't read much. All the rest followed in moms footsteps bathtub & all. I am proud to say that I too have passed this on as both my kids are bookworms. Hubby is always delighted when our 2 yr old grabs a book & runs to his lap. He always looks at me & says Thank YOU!
