Karen

Hi Karen. welcome to the Board. You have good reasons not to drink. My sponsor told me that there can be a thousand excuses to drink but not one reason too. Your grandsons are definitely more important than alcohol. You seem to know this and are willing to give up drinking so you can be the grandmother that you would like to be. You will get a lot more enjoyment out of life by being sober with your grandkids than any enjoyment a bottle could bring ,because in reality the bottle only brings pain, heartache, despair and isolation. All we have to do is say NO ,ONE DAY AT A TIME. It's as simple as that. I am glad to see you posted and is willing to chose what is the most important to you. good luck, stay sober and enjoy your grandkids. Time can never be replaced so live today and chose to live it sober. God bless and take care. ((( ))))
