Although we have not spoken in months I just want you to know that I am praying for you. I know that you will come thru this ordeal just fine. You will be amazed @ how quickly you will heal. I know that it is a very scary time for you and I wish now that pride had not gotten in my way so that I could have been there for you sooner. I apologize for my part in the breakup of our friendship. Hopefully we can put this in the past although it will require work on both our parts. Lets not let our stubborness get in the way, lol. I said things that I regret now but I know that you will forgive me, cause that is the type of person you are. I' m willing to work on building a better friendship than the one we had before.
My daughter is having surgery tomorrow which has really had me on edge. I know that she will be ok, but just seeing my baby go thru this, you know, is very difficult. Please include her in your prayers tonight.

I was just on my way to bed when I thought I would check my email and the board one last time. I'm so glad I did. I will sleep so much better tonight, something I haven't been doing lately.

I love you too. I wish that I could be there to hold your hand before and after surgery. I would like to be there also to kick a few butts if needed, lol, just to keep the Dr.s and nurses in line. But I think that you can do that all on your own. I've taught you well ha ha. If you have questions or concerns don't hesitate to ask. And PLEASE don't try to be a hero. Adequate pain control is so necessary under these circumstances to prevent pneumonia, blood clots and other problems. Turning, moving and deep breathing are so important and you can't do that if your pain is not controlled. Trust me they will have you off the pain meds ASAP. They will also have you up in a chair the next day and walking for a short distance. I'm sure you know all of this so just a friendly reminder

Sorry for butting in here. But, this thread just made my heart smile this morning. I hope you two find your way back to each other, what's in the past is just that, in the past.
