Hi Rachel..I like your posts as well, I think we sound alike. I am doing okay today, I woke up with a sick child. She is sleeping now, but I think that I am going to take her to the dr. I hate that drs office, I was just there yesterday and they take forever, and the nurse is a b****. She must be in menopause. My sponsor went with me, and confirmed that she is a nasty woman, so I know that it isn't just me.

The other day I was thinking about you when I was listening to the chilis ( I know I sound obsessed, because I am, it is helping me to recover, I do believe..)

Rachel, are you a pharmacutical rep?? LOL...Now that would be a dangerous job for me. A friend of mine is going to pharmacy tech classes, surprisingly enough it isn't hard to get a job like that. But that is one job I know I couldn't do...not at this point, anyway.
I am from Normalville, USA...Fremont. There isn't anything that happens there, but san fran is a dangerous city...lol...I have been out here for 16 years, and think that it might do me good to change locations for a while..
My daughter has an appiontment at 3:30 and then I am going to sushi...I never go out without my kids, so it will be fun. I just feel bad about going when my daughter isn't feeling good, but she seems much better after her nap.
I have 2 brothers in Hollywood; one is an actor and did tons of commercials. I could never live out there. That place is just to dangerous for an addict like me...lol..I think that I would have died a long time ago if I lived out there. There is just too much fun and temptation. I like it here because it is simple. My life is so busy with my kids, and it is safe here for them. But I am getting bored...and I feel like I am missing out on alot out here. Have you ever come out here? The beaches here are paradise..what beach do you live by??? we used to go down to LA when I was little. I just remember the water being so cold and dirty there.
Last January, my best friend and I went to Disneyland...we drove back to san fran on the 1....or 101...I forget, the scenic one. but we did it after six pm....so it was in the dark. We missed all the scenery....how's that for a stupid tourist story...lol....

You guessed it, lol! That's what I do. I live near Santa Monica, just south of there. Have you ever heard of Manhattan Beach? I know somebody from Fremont. When I was a waitress she worked with me. That's funny there are so many actors. It's great your brother is a working actor, very few of those. I love sushi, you'll have a good time. Can you believe I have never been to Hawaii. I am the only one of my friends who hasn't been. I think I will go for vacation next year. I didn't take a vacation this year, what with the whole detox and craziness. Is your ex in Hawaii also?

I know I could think that about my present boss, he is hot. But he is an a**...lol...he talks too much.
My ex is on another island. He is supposed to come back this weekend, and I will probably get a break. It is funny, though, now that I am sober, I don't really want a break from my kids as much. I just want to be with them. My daughter is okay, she was acting like the dr today. She told me what to do when her my children throw fits..put my headset on and hold it.....that is what I do...lol. I buy her dr kits for toys...I am trying to send a message about her career...
There was this other dr that is kinda cute. I was thinking on the way home how I messed up my life and should have married that dr...
I wish I had some advice for you about the attitude thing, but my attitude TOTALLY sucks at work. I just can't get myself out of it, and always had a really strong work ethic. I am positive that it has to do with opiates. I never have felt like this..it seems that I have just lost my motivation, drive and focus. And I don't even care.
My brother did work, but he filed bankruptcy last year. go figure...maybe it was that hollywood lifestyle.
What kind of degree do you need to be a pharm rep? I could get my catch that way..lol....

If you do come, I can hook you up with rooms and things. I like maui the best, although all of the islands are pretty. There..that is your motivation..just tell yourself you are there with your boss so you can come to Hawaii!!
