Great song! there are several diffrent versions i've heard. When i was a baby i got spinal meningitis my Mom sang "you are my sunshine" the kids rhyme to me when i was in the hospital they told her I was going to die. My older brother use to sing this "punk rock" version to me when I was a teen "it's not child acceptable" it has some foul launguage but, a strong message". It's based on the same "sunshine" song.
