Mel Gibson

Good morning everyone, I just read in the paper that Mel Gibson was arrested for drunk driving!! I remember reading about his wild party days, he admitted that he has been battling alcoholism his entire adult life, and he relapsed big time. It just goes to show, that with all his money and fame he is not immuned to this disease, I'll add him to my prayer list, he seems like such a great guy, not the typical hollywood type, maybe this will be his rock bottom..

Bye for now!!
Love and hugs

Hiya L-D......Yeah I was a little suprised about Mel....just like you said money doesn't make you immune.
How is your Dad? I've been away for a few days and just got back online. I hope you are being able to spend some quality time together. Hope you are having a nice weekend!

Your Friend
Hi Valarie, Great to see you back!! and thanks for asking about my Dad, he is actually at home right now, he has a day pass, which will be good for him,but he has to go back tonight, I hope we can get him there!! he can be a stubborn old bugger when he wants to!! I'm having a pretty rough day actually, I have a little p/t job on the weekends for a pet food company, and they didn't tell me that this lady would be working my shift with me today, I'm sure just to check in on me, oh and I tell ya I almost blew a gasket!! she was telling me how to sell, do this do that, totally took over my shift, I'm not a happy camper, but I let her know, I told her off of course with a smile, I almost walked out though!! I will let my supervisor know I am not pleased about it... and I also have a cold sore, and it hurts so much.
Did you find after you were off the drink that you were more outspoken about things? and less tolerant? I find I am getting this way sometimes, I just don't hold back much anymore, wondering if you or anyone else found this to be true?

Hope you had a lovely weekend Valarie, sorry for venting like this.

Lots of love your pal

Hmmm, maybe we'll see Mel around our meetings here in LA on a court court! Anyway, yep, the disease of alcoholism no knows boundaries and does not discriminate, it is cunning, baffling and powerful...In one meeting I could be sitting next to a homeless woman, the next meeting a man who is a multi-millionaire...we've had celebrities in our meetings, they've come out to share their experience, strength and hope as Speakers as well, musicians, you name it...we are all in it together.
