Hi to all...and a very merry Christmas. I just wanted to take a quick second and post this to let you all know that you are so dear to my heart! It has been a year since I first found this website. I have come so far with the help love and understanding of a lot of you. Thank you all....and to those that still suffer I know how hard it can be especially this time of year.

I was a wreck last year and spent much of Christmas Eve Day at the hospital begging for a few percocets...I was ashamed lost and my life was in ruin. This year I just arrived home from an amazing church service on the Ocean with my kids at my side...today Christmas day is 50days clean and sober....this is the first time in my life I have been this way..with the exception of my pregnancies over 21years ago.

What a miracle...I am so spiritually connected that I am scared! To the suffering and using addict out there that is eating copious amounts of pain pills and continually withdrawing and stuck in the nightmare...there is hope...hold your head up high and seek out help..you will get it and you will rejoice in the miracles that will lie ahead! I hate this cliche' but "if I can do it...so can anyone!"

Its true...be grateful this year friends there is so much suffering in this world and so many have it harder than we do!!

KeeKee-It's been a great journey these past months getting to know you and watch your progress.I really am proud of how you jumped right into your meetings despite your reservations.It shows a lot of dedication to your sobriety.I hope you have a great holiday in paradise.

Merry Chritmas to you, too, Kee Kee! You have so much to be thankful for this Christmas, and your joy comes through loud and clear in your writing. I am just happy as can be for you. To see someone like us arrive at a place where they are in control of the beast, so to speak, and are living their life happily, like you are, is such a blessing.
I hope you and your family have a beautiful day and the Christmas you had last year is forever in the past.

Thank you guys...I couldn't not have done what I have accomplished without the love and support that I have felt here....while not a catch all...this board is truly part of my recovery program!!
