I actually saw this on the news last night..methamphetamine is a horrible drug, I printed out those pics and have them in a folder in case someone tries to give it to one of my kids, I can show them the pics. That would work for me! kim
That's a great idea. I really feel for those ones, you know they don't want to be that way. It must be an incredible hold to just waste away like that. I do feel pity for them

Hey Charlie, Terrible thing huh, I watched this happen to my sister-in-law. She finally broke her brain and is now schizophrenic. (sp) SHe was the birth mother of my sons. She called me at 4 months along (twins) wanting to know if the state I lived in would do 2nd trimester abortions. Said she was carrying identical twin boys. (She'd already had 5 kids, all boys) I told her maybe she should be picking out names instead of abortion dr's. She then asked me to take them. Are you using? I asked. She said yes, but she would quit. She did and nearly died of the depression. Laid there for the rest of the pregnancy, never washing or moving unless someone did it for her. Now my sons can't stand the taste of anything. At 15, they've never tasted a grape, orange, cherry, any type of vegetable. No beans of any kind...never tasted one. They're extremely sensitive to pain, can't even comb their hair. But they're smart as whips and my greatest blessing. And my sister-in-laws greatest act of love. I'll keep this article too, to show my kids if the need arises. Thanks for sharing. Makes me feel a little lucky! Beck
That's kinda why I posted it. I felt guilty, ashamed, and all that, but I was lucky not to ever have gotten to that point.

What a waste!

Gotta love those babies! My first wife left when my son was 16 months old so it was just he and I until a couple of years ago when I remarried. It was fantastic and the best it could be under the circumstances. My son is now 19 and finishing his first year in college. He had an academic scholarship, yeah! I'm really, REALLY looking forward to him coming home as I miss him terribly.

Thanks for sharing that!

Charlie
