am i right in thinking that methadone goes into all the tissues in your body? (sure there is a better way of saying this but hope you understand what i mean)
because it is complelty in all of your body is this the reason why the withdrawels last longer? as it takes a lot longer to leave your body completly?
is this why people change to sub? beacuse this is a short acting drug?
so if you taper your methadone dose right down to 1 will there be less methadone built up in your body and so the withdrawels are shorter or does it not work like this??
sorry for all the questions....been reading lots on methadone and trying to get things straight in my head as its all a bit confusing

hey Davey..good to hear from you..i'm good thanks how about you?
am finding it easier nowadays..not to say thigns are brilliant..but am a lot better than when first started posting on this board! had the little scare with finding the used needle the other morning..but apart from that things pretty tranquil.
boyfriend is doing well at the moment, a few weeks back he was quite low and irritable and getting depressed at being on the methadone doing the slow tape, but now he seems a lot more positive
not in the 30's yet.. time wise it feels like he should be! the clinic messed up the second week and forgot to put him down his 2ml but yesteday he got to 40...which is really good and think this may be why he is feeling a bit more positive....as you said he is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel
he has got down to 40 fairly easily which is good....know it gets harder the lower you go tho. but fingers crossed the drop to 30 will be trouble free too.
havent had much of a chance to have a look at the other site yet, but am still interested in your opnion with or without this other site...
