Jeff, the fact doesn't change that a man is dead at a too-young age and I am sure there are many people in his personal life who loved him and are grieving tremendously.
With such a recent loss myself, I feel tremendously sorry for those closest to him...especially his children. They don't get to have their Dad in their lives for 40 or 50 years like many of us do. It would be hard enough losing a parent as an adult. I can't imagine how heartbroken and scared they must be.
It is not up to me to judge him and his actions. He is facing the ultimate judgment now.
God rest his soul.

I have always said I didn't think MJ in his brain thought anything was wrong with having a sleep over with kids. The man was not stupid. He never had what most of us had, a childhood. Hence his Neverland compound.
Jeff just because someone pays someone off doesnt mean guilty, has huge as he was he just wanted it to go away. Him having kids over for sleepovers, and wanting to be out of the public eye with molestation allegations. Meaning, I see the other side of what most don't think about, just so damn quick to judge.
You only see the negative side of folks, no open mindedness what so ever.
I used to think how odd to cover his children in public, but now I see why he did it, listening to his best friend this morning. The kids can go out in public without getting noticed. I wouldn't know what any of the 3 looked like, so his plan worked.

Its funny Stacey, I remember watching him on TV along with the Osmond's when they were just kids as lead singers of the family bands. Ironically I am only 4 years older than he is. I thought he was much younger than 50, almost 51.
His talent was huge.
To me I saw a child in a grown up body, but never the man. I could be way off base, and I am not naive, but watching him on that interview show, pretty much sealed the deal with me. He is what he is. Different? of course he is, so are a lot of folks, he just happens to be in the public eye.
Pedophile? I don't think that for one second.
Elvis, Nichole, and others including MJ, were unfortunately the type where people they surrounded themselves with were 'yes men and women'. I think people are paid very well to hang with folks like them, but someone must come forward at some point and say 'enough', just as Britney's Dad did. Just as Amy Winehouse's family did. Sometimes we need rescuing from ourselves.
Money should not be the deciding factor to determine right from wrong. Those 3 had those surrounding them who did know the difference and shame on them for taking the money and running, and the 3 in question were too f***ed up on drugs to know the difference, clearly the only time people can take advantage of us, when we are blasted.
Again this is only my observations growing up with the Jackson Five, then MJ himself, he made great strides in the music industry.
I credit his father for the recognition of his sons talents and bringing them to us.

My first poster when I was around 6-7 yrs old was of Michael and then I had another of the Jackson 5. I can still see the poster in my mind. Part of my childhood died yesterday with his death....I guess this is how my parents felt when Elvis died.
And I've found through living life's lessons that the most loving thing a person can do for someone is quit enabling and step out of denial and look at reality and call it what it is, not justify nor rationalize it....Those who prosper off sickness are some of the sickest people out there....

I so agree with you Ms Stacey, Michael was a big part of our life, as Elvis was to our parents generation.
The only famous person I have ever cried when died was Dale Sr. and I didn't know the man. Typically not something I do, but it just came in buckets.

I think MJ's doctor is going to be in a bucket full of trouble - injecting him with Demerol supposedly on a daily basis. Allegedly of course for now.
I have had demerol several times for migraine in the ER - very strong stuff, short-acting, tho. I also heard that he was on xanax and oxy's. We'll see what the tox report says.
He really must have hated himself and tried to escape who he was through plastic surgery and drugs. What a shame. And what an extraordinary talent, even as a young kid. And so cute back then.
In my mind I have no doubt he crossed the line with kids. But because of his twisted upbringing, I don't think HE thought he was doing anything wrong. That doesn't excuse it, but I feel more sorry for him than disgusted by him.
