Hey You I was just sitting reading,Whos "IT" today..lol
Well after along discussion he desided to try me on the trazodone.50mg to start.We discussed the sleep apnea & he doesnt seem to think this is the issue
I guess because of how my lack of sleep is??/Anyways he wants me to try this & he said it may take up to 4 weeks to help...Yeah like 4 more weeks of no sleep.Anyways Ill start tonite.My plan is a hot shower,maybe some snuggling with my youngest as we watch "Top Model"& try not to think of sleep,just let it happen.
Tom I want to thank you along with everyone who gave their input.I can researched stuff till the cows come home but what you guys give me by your experience is worth so much to me........mj

I was on trazadone a few years ago. From what I remember it worked right away for me. I was able to sleep with that, until I got immuned to it. But it does work well. I hope it works as fast for you too. Good luck.

Hope the trazadone helps. It sure helped me. I have a script for it now when I need it. I looked up stuff about subutex on line but I, like you, thought I'd better ask everyone here and I got the answers.

It is 9 pm est, hoping you are in bed, when I first took Traz, it knocked my butt out the first night on 25 mg, I had free range to go up to 100mg, I only did that a few times, twice I think, can't really recall now, when I had a month to sleep. lol
I am like Rachel, insomnia for me is unbearable. My brain ceases to function. My whole being ceases. I would go thru WD any day, than to experience insomnia again.
I told Reddog, if you have a small fan that you can put on low aiming it towards your face, it is one way I found that helped me. I also became dependent on having that fan every night. Insomnia or not. I just love it. Cool breeze and dog/cat hair blowing in my face. Sleep well.
