anyone out there that knows how a mother can help her daughter to get off of meth, any places I can call or people to talk to. I need some help. I am scared for her and don't know what to do.
I know what you mean. I have lost my son to meth and he also has a gf on it. They have both been incarcerated. I have finally decided I need to help myself. I can't change them.I am now looking just for support to help me get them off me. They use and use and never appreciate anything. I need help not feeling guilty if I have things or go somewhere and feel so bad about them.
She must be willing to come clean and hit the rehab
Dear Monica,
As mentioned before, there is nothing you can do. The decision is hers. This is one of the first lessons in Al Anon and NAR Anon.
You CAN look at any area where you are enabling - doing for her what she should do for herself. Providing anything that can be converted into money and drugs. This is very important - enabling has killed as many people as the drugs themselves.
For your daughter, there are paths she can take if she really wants it.
For you, please look at attending an Al Anon or NAR Anon meeting.
Good luck

How old is she and what was her life like that lead up to meth
