my mom has drinking problems and when i try to talk to her she just blows me off things are gettin worse and worse at home and i cant take it any more im about to run away is there any one that i can talk to and seek profesional help with ??
Does your Mom know she has a problem? Maybe just leave the address to this website somwhere you know she'll find it. Altho she may be mad at first, maybe she'll thank you later. Or pick up books on alchoholism, and leave them on the counter. Chances are, she'll read them when your not around. Maybe then she'll be able to find help on her own. But the thing is, if she doesnt WANT help, then no one can make her. Tell her how sad you are and how much it hurts you. Good luck!
That's right if your mom doesn't want help, she won't get help. Alcoholism can completely take over someones life. No matter who or what they lose it won't matter to them as long they can get a drink. Try to speak to your mother, hope things will be better for you.
