My Son Has 18 Months!

Hi everyone!

I was so busy getting ready for my grandson's Baptism (on the 13th) that I forgot to tell you that my son has 18 months heroin free!!!!! Praise God!!!!

He also was the godfather at the Baptism, brought the girl he is currently seeing (and everyone liked her a LOT), and he finished his probation today! Does anyone know if it is possible to get some of the legal issues removed from his record? Someone told me it could be done. I think his DUI and retail thefts are hurting his chances to get a good job. He likes the people he is working for but he has a very good head on his shoulders and is capable of much more!

Thanks for all your help and all your prayers that have brought us to this day and please pray that he continues to stay strong in his fight against addiction as I do for all of you too.

Love,
Susan
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TO YOU BOTH!!:-)!! All The best!

Congratulations to you too! One day at a time! :)

Love,
Susan

..Susan..
..Good to read about your son..he,s doing real well..good luck to you all..Robbie..
Holy Camolle Guacamole. Those last six months flew by.

That is just about the best news I have heard in like forever, Susan. Lady friend too huh? That's great. Godfather. Your son gives hope to everyone and anyone out there tonight in our prayers this can work.

Oh, my gosh the baby. I bet it went well, and I KNOW your mom was smiling, and looking on. If you took photographs have a closer look. No doubt she is in them somewhere as a vortice or a little round orb. Sometimes they are colored like blue or gold. I KNOW she was there.

Anyone else want to take me on with that life after death bring it on. I have seen it. Just bring it on. AND NO I am not talking about specks of dust.

Congrats to your so, Susan. A big hug like so big for you. I missed you. I'm on my "19th nervous Breakdown, but oh whose to blame this girls just insane"
Gave you some Brit music. That Tres, and Robbie the lousy traders. Keeping me out of their music world.

SNOBS. Music snobs. yes, they are. Ehhhhhh, I love them two.

BTW Robbie I hope won't get mad or embarassed. Handsome. Saw a pic, and his son is gorgeous. I look like Anna Nicole so no matter to me anyway. Note the skinny Anna. Not the boney Anna. The hott Anna. Thank you.

Hooray for grandmom. Great news.
Dear Bryn,

Thanks so much! You're right....the past 6 months have flown by!!!! Of course helping Christina when she was getting tired towards the end of her pregnancy and then the arrival of our brand new grandson has kept things moving quickly. Juliet also got a job again so I'm watching my granddaughter more and trying to get my mom's house ready to sell. I've been busy!!!!! I will be glad when my son gets his license back because having to run for him every day for work breaks up the day too. As you well know...once a mom...always a mom....for better or for worse!

I am DELIGHTED that he has been able to find the strength to turn his life around!!!! And I'm so very proud of him! His sisters have been very forgiving too even though during active addiction he hurt them badly by not coming to important events for their children. In fact one of them was the party after the Baptism of my daughter's first child. She forgave him enough to ask him to be the Godfather of her second. I'm very proud of them too!

I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through with your daughter. I posted to you on the other thread. I'm sorry I didn't have time to read your pretty long post before that. To be honest, I was disappointed and shocked that two of my three children had a child out of wedlock. Believe me...they were raised to know this is wrong BUT you can't make decisions for your adult children. You can only guide them on the right paths. Whether they stay on them or not is out of your hands to a great extent.

You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Susan
