and he looked good and healthy. He's been working. He was clean and well dressed. His clothes were ironed and his hair was cut. He didn't have that sickly sweaty pallor to his face.
He didn't look like the drug addict that I threw out of the house at all. He say's he off drugs...
I'm hoping this lasts.
That's great Laurie! Maybe this was what he needed. 'll be praying that he stays on the right path. How was the visit? Strained at all? I find it hard to have any kind of normal conversation with our son.

Hi the mom, Maybe you throwing him out has gave him a wake up call. Let's hope so! Now you will be able to relax and not worry about him so much. Just in time for you to have a nice Christmas together too. Being around the family at a happy time like this will let him see what he would have missed. I'm really happy for you themom God Bless. M.
I don't know how to describe how I felt when I saw him. The conversation was a little strained on my part because I'm so used to not asking questions because I'd always get a lie. He was his normal chatty self.
I kept waiting for him to ask for something but he didn't ask for anything.
I told him I forgave him a while ago, but I haven't forgotten how he was so its going to take some time for me to relax with him and trust him again.
that's if he stays clean.
I hope this is just the beginning.
