Hey Paul... Just checking in on you pal. I hope all is going well, and although I was silent thru it all, I am glad things have calmed down and we can get back to the business of mutual support!!
Hope you are feeling good. Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you. xo Breeze
Hi breeze
Thanks for your enquiry, I am on day 11 of my detox and feel ok, no cravings just a bit of insomnia. Flushed 200 pills on day 2 with my wife watching which was a good way of drawing a line under my habit and showing her i meant buisness. How are you doing at this point. Write and let us no
Bless you
Paul

I know your on day 11. I am proud of you. You had a tough week, and I am glad all is well. I think we will start benefiting from the boards again.
I am the same. In the waiting game now. Setting up the plan with my husband and my kids about coming off Duragesic and learning to live my life with pain.
My doctors have been great. Once I convinced them that even though I wasn't abusing my script, I needed to come off because I think I have a problem with it, they were totally behind me. They are lining up Tens units (which is like electric stimulation for pain you do at home). All my other "pain friends" are on board too. Accupuncturist, massage therapist, and yoga teacher and most important, the friends I have that are going to help us. The doctor is working on a withdrawal plan, as we are all different. I am not sure of the particulars yet. We find out July 12th. We have definitely decided that I will start coming off last week of August since my children will be getting ready for school. No one thinks I should ruin their summer (or mine).
So that's it. I feel better knowing this nightmare of depression, moodiness, semi withdrawal, etc is coming to an end. Right now, I just enjoy talking with all of you. Being there, lending a shoulder. When my time comes, I know you all will be here for me and so much further ahead in your recovery. That's what friends are for.
Anyway, I am glad you are doing well. I think you are a great guy, and I look forward to being here for you. All of us left are meeting great new people on this board, and I am really enjoying it again....Peace.
