hello everyone. I have read alot of the posts and replies, but haven't really been able to find answers to my questions..
I am a 33 yr old female, I just found out a week ago that I am pregnant. I have been on Seroquel, Ativan, and Amitriptyline, and Vicodin for about a year or longer, I have lost track. I am off all but a tiny bit of the Seroquel, and the Vicodin. I have been taking the Vicodin for back pain, which I have had since the 10th grade but has steadily gotten worse and I have gotten older. I can't sleep because of it and work is impossible without Vicodin. (Office cleaning)...
Although I don't take 20 or 30, I have been up to 8 at the most... I tried to go cold turkey, but it was all I could think about, I couldn't work, sleep or function... I have gotten down to one, but I just can't seem to get off of that one. I want to have a healthy pregnancy and baby, so I am trying to get off of all my meds but the Vicodin is so hard to get rid of. I can't afford a detox program, and I really can't stop working long enough for it, (my husband and I own this business) so what options do I have? What are the exact withdrawl symptoms of Vicodin? What is safe for the baby? Am I just weak? Or is this pain and misery real?
...Byzansandy...i think you may get more answers if you post this on the pain pills board aswell...pain pills are not my doc..but good luck in finding out what you need to know....Robbie..
