New Web Site ...

hey guys , just catching a few of you up. i told you about a web page i am having built gor guys( and gals) who work in the building trades and end up chasing the dragon from an injury they get while working. it is almost up. it is called buildingtradesnarcoticadvocacy.org if you know anyone who might need the info to get clean or find a sub doc they will be able to look here. i talked to a wonerful lady who works for the maker of sub and she was extatic about the web page. she is going to try and raise some funding i hope !!! lots of you guys chimed in and told me what a good idea thid is. thank you. a god thing i guess. having a drug problem is one thing... having one and noone to fault is another. it sucks ...

jeff
is it all about sub? or is all forms of recovery welcome?

terrianne
thanks terrianne... yeah... any and every way we can help these guys who end up hurt and then a habit to boot. i travel and work 3-4 jobs in different cities every year. this problem is rampent among people who work construction. the stigma associated with addiction keeps them from seeking help. i am going to start speaking at union meetings and jobsites and antwhere else my at risk demographic will listen. hopefully apprenticeship schools... try and catch these guys and educate them before they end up like me. i just statred on sub today after being in w/d for 7 day... i was getting worse still not better after so long... weird. as i get the site online i am going to start fundraising. i would like to be able to help working guys who get help who are not insured...lots of insurance won't handle detx and rehab help. bulls*** if you ask me. any suggestions from all the great people fighting to be healthy on this site would be great.
