Anybody watching that series?
I'm like addicted..........I'm in love with Mr. Guppie......and can someone tell me why the guy in the wheelchair keeps making his niece......"Shake me up, Judy"?........poor girl gotta grab him under the arms and shake the man.
I was surprised to find the one charachter is that woman from "X Files".
Who knew Dickens could be so good? L-O-V-E this BBC series.
HUGE Dickens fan here! I culdn't even tell you my favorite - he's smart, funny, tragic, and lewd. You never really know what's wrong with any of Dickens's sickly characters. Like Tiny Tim, for instance, what's his problem? He's crippled and sallow-skinned, dark circles, etc. but then he's cured. Some people believe that he may have been a victim of kidney disease or diabetes. All we know about Smallweed, that nasty old scab, is that he has no use of his lower extremities, and some of his upper, so he requires some shaking to make him comfortable. It's just a little piece of Dickens that makes his characters unforgettable. Enjoy, there's nothing like a shot of Dickens - what a talent.
