No Wendy. I think I'm the stupid one. I read this entire thread, twice. It was all in English and yet... none of it made any sense to me at all.
God you guys, forget the stats...her kids need shoes. Its like taking food from a baby. Can we turn this around and have people agree with me?
Lol...
Lol...
There are ties in football.. makes enough sense.. But yah the shootout in hockey is a ridicolous way to end a 65 minute game ((the extra five including O.T)).. Too bad the Flyers keep giving up break aways b4 the shootout.. two freakin games in a row grrrr. oh well GO Flyers
Dang Wendy, now you want us to lie for you? NOT.........lmao
You can't win em all. That is why there are ties......

Wow I come back and look at this a debate-LOL I get it and I called him and he was mad at me. I said " Hey I didn't make the rules"... Okay this is what I get out of this thread Gina.
1. You can tie in a regular NFL game once going into overtime.
2. You can't tie in the playoff's someone must win.
3. You can't tie in College football someone must win.
4. I am not sure about Monday night football Wendy-LOL
Did I get it right so far guys?
Oh yeah and the last game that tied was Atlanta Vs. Pitt in 2002 ! I told my ex that and he said " Rachel I am not into playing Trivia". I said well then you shouldn't have called-LOL
Thanks to everyone. Have a wonderul evening. Rae

I remember that tie. It screwed the whole league off that year. I remember it was the Steelers too. I think it was a Monday night game as well.
Rae,
Thanks so much for the translation. Could I trouble you to interpret the following statements as well?
Coin flip is as stupid as the shootout in hockey. (Flipper) I assume the maneuver is accomplished without firearms.
the Giants My Team tied the lowly cards but we covered the spread (Suboxman) Low cards? Poker? Spread?
My metshave some young players locked up. (also Suboxman) Jail?
The really important question is, of course, did your ex win his bet?
Love, Gina

Jeff means the Giants tied the Cardinals and the mets have some good prospects for next season. Nothing of the criminal matter lol
In the pros after 4 quarters of play if both teams are tied they play a 15 minute sudden death quarter. Whoever scores first wins. If neither team scores they play a second 15 minute quarter and if both teams are tied at the end of the second sudden death quarter then both teams are recorded a tie.
In college both teams will have equal chances at the end of regulation play to score starting from the oponents 25 yardline. You have as always, 4 chances to accomplish a first down and or score. Then the next team gets a chance to go at it from the 25 yardline. They go at it until one team gains a points advantage over the other. The differnce here from the pros is there is no game clock other than the 30 sec. play clock and each team gets a chance to score.
