Anybody have any experience with this new Omega 3 for high tryglicerides?
My freakin HDL is 165 down from 380 couple years ago but the TRYGLICERIDES is high at 220.
Curious if anybody knows anything about this med

Knocked my cholesterol down from 294 to 159. I take it with 10 mg crestor.

Janet its the TRYGLICERIDES that are high. My HDL and LDL are totally under control after change of diet lifestyle exercise and of course a pill--VYTORIN but the tryglicerides are most dangerous.
I went drom 182 to today 153 so I need to lose 13 more pounds. My doctor said the Vytorin will not help the tryglicereides--
Do you have any idea what your were before and after 2months of using the Omacor? That is how much time he said it would take.
He gave me 40 pills but saidto take 4 at lunchtime?? Figured someone out there may have some concrete results???

Jeff, I take the 4 at night before bed, they gave me agita...I've only been on them 3 months, so those are the two month numbers.
