I'm ignorant regarding this topic. I've been thinking about donating my blood. The clinic will be in my community next weekend and I wonder if my blood would help someone.
Is my blood worthy @ 50 days clean ?

HERE are the eligibility guidelines for donating blood.
They only are concerned with IV drug use from what I remember. But, I know they ask you about travel outside the US. I know you just got back from India and that may be a problem.

If you're interested in blood donation, you may be interested in donating your organs or your body. Both are very worthwhile and it leaves you with no funeral expenses to boot. Please consider this. It can make such a difference in someone else's life. It only takes a few minutes to do the paperwork.
In my province, all we have to do is sign the back of our healthcard to donate. :-)
