Ot---for The Readers Here

I just finished the best book I have read in ages, and had to share. I raced through this book, couldn't put it down.....every spare moment I've had for the past 3 days I have had my head in it.
It's The Memory Keepers Daughter by Kim Edwards. If you like to read current fiction, check it out!
Loved it!
Thanks Carol,

Always looking for a great book to escape into..im a picky reader and have a hard time finding fiction that i like..99% of everything i read is Psychology-Self help or Philosophy-religion...

Will look out for that one....

Kim, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I am always reading and looking for something new.......just started Confidential Sources by Barbara Fischkin ,and so far, I hate it. LOL I'm thinking, "How did this book even get published?" It was a gift, btw, I didn't buy it. But I will keep going for 50 pages, if it doesn't improve, I am done with it. Life is too short to read bad books. Or ones I do not enjoy.
Carol,

I will look for it at the library this arvo. I am a mad reader too but don't always enjoy popular fiction.

On of my favorite authors is Margaret Atwood. Oryx and Crake was a ripper of a story.

Hi Carol;

I'm in between books myself - The Jim Leyland Story, by Jim Leyland; Al Kaline: The Best Outfielder Ever; by Carl Yaztremski; Sparky Anderson; Winning is Easy (especially against the Red Sox), by Theo Epstein; The Motorcyle Diaries, by Mickey Lolcih; and Clutch!!! by Kirk Gibson.

But I will definitely check this out!
