Tomorrow my new grandson will be one month old.My son called me tonight(he lives 5 minutes down the road)asked if i would like to take the baby for a few hours....ummmm....i couldnt get there fast enough!!LOL....Him and his wife know how much we love him and love to spend time with him so we were thrilled with the call.
But...alll he does is eat and sleep,lol,hes got on a cute little outfit,if youve ever read the book about the caterpillar who ate and ate and ate some more,well,thats the outfit hes got on,and it saays,under the squirmly little caterpilllar"and then he ate some more"...it suits this little gut to a tee,he cant get enough.When hes awak hes sucking on his fingers feverishly or his sleeve,(not happy with a pacifyer...he wants the real thing)
Hes grwoing so fast already.Looking at him sleeping with his adorable little face just makes my heart swell.To me,thats what its all about.thats what living life is...being clean anough to watch,see,and enjoy every little second og these things.

One of my close friends has twins...and she just changed their clothes constantly because they were such good babies...just slept and ate, like you are describing your new baby.
Anyway, she would wake them up just to change their clothes! I laughed and laughed at her...those twins are perfect and beautiful. I eat them up! I love them so much.

I find myself changing him alot lso,my husband was like"hes not a little girl hon" and i said"dont matter,still like to do it"lol Why? I dont know,they just look so precious and i think its just the handeling of them that you desire.~KIM

Yes...ages and ages...I love that pic...its one of my fav's...I have it in a little frame....I don't where it is though and found it on my puter...she was so adorable...still is..but you know its just different!
kee-kee, It's funny before I read this thread me and hubby were sitting here looking at our screen saver on our computer we have a slide show that flashes pics of our kids and grandbabies. My 21 year old is acting like a b**** again and won't let us see our two granddaughters. She thinks we get let her put it up in her business. Well guess what as long as she has our grandbabies we are gonna keep getting up in her business to make sure those babies are being taking care of. She can piss me off to no end. Sorry for venting. Oh trust me I know how you have worried and are so concerned for you grand babies....your daughter sounds really immature for one! If only she could figure out that you only have there best interests at heart.
She will come around...she is so young yet...but in the meantime and in between time...I know how much you adore your grandchildren!
I would be horrified if either of my granddaughters parents tried to make it difficult for us to have a relationship with her....there would a fight to the end...it makes me so sad how kids can become bargaining tools in family dynamics!!

Immature thats an understatement. The sad thing is when she decides to grow up we will have lost so much precious time with Ny-Ny & Promise. As much as we want to see them and nuture them we are holding firm to our tough love policy with our daughter. We are at our wits end with her and the way she choses to live her life. We have to stick with it. Do we hurt every day not being able to see them hell ya but if our tough love in any way makes our daughter realize the way she is living life is not the right way than I guess we hurt. Shantel

Kee & Kimber...How beautiful they both are.In a way I look forwards to the day Im a grandma,but NOT NOW!!!.I mean I hear you & others talk about thier grandchildren & I really sometimes cant wait to be a part of that club.
I always thought Id NEVER love anything more than my girls but something tells me when my first grandbaby finally does come....Im going to fall head over heels.
