Thank you you fine ladies.

I truly am amazed how they have uplifted me,just looking at them each day.

It dawned on me too,i dont have to wait for someone to brign me flowers9which never ever ever happens) i can go and buy them myself, everyday if i want to.Never thought of it before, how silly ,huh?Well,i know i will no longer be flowerless.

My local grocery store, its huge, has a starbucks inside etc...each month they have a rose of the month and you buy 6 get 6 free,so i certainly can afford that.Hope you all have things like flowers or whatever it is that makes you feel good in your lives each day,and if you dont,go out and get them/it.~KIM
Wow such a nice vase of flowers hun it does not metter who brought them just as long as you enjoy them. Me well i can never keep flowers they wilt and die on me but i just love lillys. that smell ooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lol jaxxxxxxxxxx
Kim,
Does your husband know how much it would mean to you to get flowers? If hes paying attention, hopefully you will get some for Valentines Day or something else.
But there is nothing wrong with picking up flowers for yourself too. Sometimes when Im in the supermarket and I see a beautiful bouquet Ill just buy it and it makes the house look and smell so nice.
Yes Donna,he does know.Hes a very...i'll call it...tunnell visioned human being. He thinks of certain things and certian things only. Its very hard to penetrate that inner sanctum.

I bought flowers for myself...he asked who bought them..i sad an admirer..ive commented on how beautiful they are...when will he get me some.....umm....maybe valentines day maybe never...even after all those clues,hints,etc..its hard to say,lol...sad but true.I envy those of you with thoughful husbands so much.Mine...he loves me...but he doesnt think of me or my feelings all too often, hes just not made that way.~KIM
Kim....you are not alone!! I so understand...sounds like your hubby and mine are from the mold!

Gorgeous flowers...I love them and am in the process of picking some to plant in my very own front yard...any suggestions???
Kim...
Just want you to know that I quit waiting for my husband to bring me flowers awhile ago...I buy myself flowers, almost weekly and my girls just laugh cause I tell them that the Labrador bought them for me.....

I love flowers, I deserve them, I buy them.....and I enjoy them.....

Take care,
Stacey
KeeKee,i have no idea about outdorr flowers or shrubs.Everything i plant, dies. The only things ive had luck with is rododendron bushes,i planted them all along the side of my deck(its a double decker)so ive got 6 different colored bushes all along the side, and they are doing great! The other thing is a rose bush i have that has just taken off lke wild fire, its gorgeous. But any other kinds of flowers, they all die,or never coem back?I ask questions at the nuresery, read directions, still,no luck.Hopefully you'll have better luck than i have.

Stacey, good for you,i feel the exact same way.Im not waiting for something thats never coming,i'll buy them for myself and enjoy them all the more.

KeKee also,i sympathise wuth you girl, lol,my husband can be a great guy,and loving when the thought occurs,but...hes quite self cenetered and needs me to repeat, repeat ,repeat, ive learned to fight my battles. My feelings are one battle i choose to fight over and its an never ending one unfortunately, cuz he JUST DONT GET IT! What're you going to do,the old saying is true,yu cant live with them and you cant live without em.~KIM
Kim...after 20+ years of marriage....he does occasionally go out there on that limb and bring home roses...but when he does...I never hear the end of if...lol...like your hubby it is NOT intentional and I do know that..never the less...it still hurts!

I saw some amazing rose bushes the bulbs thingies...that come two bushes to a pack...things grow here like crazy..so I will plant them in my front window.

Just yesterday....Kearra came home from the neighbors with a bag full of lemons limes...tangelo's....these people adore her...and she will spend time with them..they are a bit older..they shower her with gifts...and she so appreciates them....me too...I love fresh lemons and limes....right off the tree...I use them daily in something!

kee-kee, Had to laugh at your last post. After 19 years of marriage I still get the roses but they use to come with a poem or a long letter. Now they just come with the little card that says with love you husband. Go figure. Shantel
Kim,
Sometimes we think we have made our point, but maybe thats not the case all the time. Some men really have to be hit on the head and TOLD "I would love it so much if you brought home flowers to me once and awhile just cause you love me". Have you been that outright about it? Hinting sometimes is not good enough. If he is actually as "tunnel visioned" as you say after being told out and out then just make this a new habit lol and treat yourself. Alot of women are in that boat because alof of men are just doofs. But he could have alot worse ways so keep an open mind to what some other women have to deal with.
How is everything. I hope your tests are all fine and you have peace of mind again.
