Ot/ Pics For Thumper And Everyone

I live in Arizona and it is very rare when it snows here. It snowed today and I took some pics of the snow. My kids were so excited. They haven't really seen the snow. Also I told thumper I would show her pics of my town. I hope you all don't mind. Sorry if you do.

That is really really cool. I love your cozy little town, It looks like it has lots of history, and I'm always really intrigued at towns and cities like that.

I'm glad your babies finally got to see snow. It doesn't snow much (once every couple of years, and doesn't stick) here either.

Love

Yeah it does have a lot of history. It is an old mining town. I think it is pretty neat. THey actually filmed movie here based on a book by stephen King called desperation.

I like my town a lot. It is small and not a lot of traffic.
I was born and raised in a small town... (like the song haha)

now the city i'm in ...well in 2000 the population was 97,255...

There's tons of traffic...but the history here?? WOW. You should look it up. it's awesome to find out the history of where you're from. I think it's important.
Yeah it is important. The population in my town is about 3000. There are a lot of old buildings where I live and there is a tour you can take and go underground. It is really neat.

Here is a pic of my dog trying to give me five. I have been practicing with him and he sits and will stay there and then I tell him to give me five and he does.

Nice scenery, I was just gonna say it looks like an old mining town but Thumper confirmed it.
Any gold left in them hills?
Hmm, I don't know. But my dad used to go in the hills and dig for turqiose back in the days. One time he found a big rock and sold it so he could fix up his car.

Steph, is that a pic of the old Phelps Dodge Lavender pit?
Yes, have you seen it in person before?
No, I came across it doing some due diligence on the company some time ago.
You must live close to Mexico.
Yeah I live right by the border. I can see the border from where I live.

Today we went to the mountains and played in the snow. My kids had lots of fun and we built a snowman. I just wanted to share some pics of me having fun and being sober. I had so much fun today and I didn't even have to take anything to have fun. It was natural happiness, something I haven't had in a long time.

Here is my cousin and I

Thanks for sharing those pictures! I love to see where other people live. I bet your kids had a blast in the snow, is that the first time they've seen it?

You and your cousin are gorgeous....

xxxooo
CG, they have seen it snow, but it never would stick and so this was the first time that they saw so much of the snow. It used to snow here when I was little and I remember making BIG snowmen. Now it is very rare. It snows a lot in the mountains, but where I live it doesn't really snow enough.

Steph- Wow those are really great pics, I did not realize you lived so close to Mexico, It does look like your town certainly holds some history, I love that. And your family, just gorgeous all of you, I always love your pics.

The only history around here, is cornfields :)

Your dog! Awwwwwwww Now, he is a pretty one.

Thanks for the pics guys, love em.
That town looks so cool! Nice pics!!
