a coal ship has run aground on the beach in the city I live. its about 4 blocks from my work.
The crew have been safely rescued but please say some prayers that an environmental disaster is averted. The ship has a full load of fuel and there are concerns it will break up. There's concerns another big coal ship will run aground later today.
We have pristine coastline here and lots of dolphins and sea lions and birds also we are on the whale migratory path and they are heading through to warmer waters right now.

ship is still in one piece
we had a major storm, cyclone force winds - much of the city flooded, I think 9 people dead, many surrounding towns flooded. Many people lost cars, houses flooded etc, been without power, water 2-3 days.
Been a crazy few days. We didn't have any damage to our place fortunately - just power outages.
thanks for the prayers.

Good thoughts going up...
Gidday Idgie
I read about it in the paper today, pretty wild weather and my thoughts are with you.
You asked if i had kissed the Blarney Stone well yes i have at Blarney Castle in Ireland but all i could think of at the time was what a good job the old fella who held your legs while you lay down and kissed the stone had because we gave each other the nod as a nice young lady took her turn (addicted minds think alike) and the Blarney Stone only gives you the gift of the Gab whereas recovery has given me the gift of the heart.
