Prayer is the answer to every problem in life. It puts us in time with divine wisdom which knows how to adjust everything perfectly. So often we do not pray in certain situations because from our standpoint. the outlook is hopeless. But NOTHING is impossible with God (whatever your perception of God is).Nothing is so entangled that it cannot be remedied. No human relationship is too strained for God to bring about reconciliations and understanding. No habit is so deeply rooted that it cannot be overcome. no one is so weak that they cannot be strong. No one is so ill that they cannot be healed,no mind is so dull that it cannot be made brilliant. Whatever we need or desire if we trust God he will supply it . If anything is causing worry or anxiety lets us stop rehearsing the difficulty and trust God for healing, love and power.
Is prayer different than meditation? Step 11 ?
I don't know medicine . haven' t got to step 11 yet. what is your opinion on it?
I think there is a difference when I pray I'm having a conversation with God. I consider it a privalage. When I mediatate I'm concentrating on a certain thing. I beleive in the power of prayer, faith and trust to.
Thank you Pirate for reminding us nothing is impossible for God. We just need to do our part and then he does his.

Gidday Everyone
For me prayer and meditation are interconnected both ways.
When i pray it can be any time of the day or night anywhere anyplace and God will listen.
For me to see the replies or have a calm mind to see the miracles that are in front of me everyday, meditation allows the slowing and at times stopping of the constant chatter in my head, meditation can also be anywhere, anyplace, 24/7.
And for me meditation/praying can be pausing when agitated, finding that ever elusive quiet time to sit and clear the mind, meetings and everyday comings and goings where i am thinking recovery.

I have heard it said that prayer is asking God and meditation is listening for the answer.
Can that be true?
