Hi wanted to share what I posted to Emily on the C/C board:
Progress not perfection right, but I picked up T (my Sponsee) from the hospital yesterday and let her talk me into taking her here and there, getting her car etc...and then leaving her alone at her Grandma's house instead of doing what I was directed to and take her straight to Sober Living....well, she got in a car accident and didn't have a license on her...so back to square one for me...gotta tell on myself and pick up where I left off and follow direction...it's hard at times though, I just wanna do things my way! Thanks for listening!
Well, today's a new day...got a pretty good shot of things going fairly well as long as I just don't pick up a drink or a drug.
I'm sorry that happened, VW, is she OK? We all want to do things our own way, though I guess some of us are more stubborn than others, I know how stubborn I am! But I guess the incident with your sponsee is kind of like if you had a slip in a way, right? Pick yourself up, learn something, start over and keep going, if anyone knows that I think it's you! Even though things went wrong that time I think she is lucky to have you as a sponsor :) I hope you will have a wonderful day today...
