Prosecuted For Methadone Treatment

i am in southeast indiana in lawreceburg indiana, i recently went thru a divorce after finding my wife had been unfaithful, during the divorce procedings my wife told the local court that i was a patient at a local methadone clinic located there in lawreceburg it just so happend that the court there does not want the methadone clinic in there town, but the state law says the clinic can stay in lawrenceburg, since going to court the judge took my visitation rights, and made me pay all my wifes attourney fees and has said i have to take random drug and alcohol test even though i have never been arested or charged with any voilation of any laws and enterd the clinic after being addictedto painkillers that were prescribed to me, im thinking of appealing the court case but dont think i have much of a chance, this is crazy and she was the one who was cheating on me. they told me i was federaly protected after entering a clinic, and now i am being prosecuted and cant see my kids,, any one have any ideas on what i should do?
Sounds to me like you mean "persecuted" not "prosecuted." I don't know all the details of your situation, but marital problems are part of the "unmanageability" referred to in recovery programs. My feedback to you is to do everything the court suggests, give them "clean" urines, go to counseling and 12-step recovery support groups, and fight to get back what your addiction took from you. The personal responsibility is yours. Don't fall into the trap of victim. Otherwise, you'll never see your kids ... also look for parenting programs in your area.
