My name is Mark and I am on Day 3 with Suboxone. Like you, I feel great. It's so wierd having the energy that I have today and not being stoned on Gobs of Pain pills.
What I wanted to ask you is... How long does your sub take to desolve under your tongue? For me it is taking about 30 to 40 minutes per pill. I was just wondering, For me to have that under my tongue and be quiet for that long is also a new thing LOL.
Last but not least, I just turned away an order of Hydro 10/325's. I told the UPS guy to return them to their sender. WOW!!! I actually didn't think about it untill he had left. I'll have to say that is a first for me and it makes me feel good that I can do that today. Used to be is that I was on pins and needles waiting for them to come. All I have to say about Suboxone is praise and thanks.

Hey, Mark don't mean to but in, but that is great you turned away the pills, good luck with the sub, heard its great, just wish i could get my medical problems together and get headed down the right road!

A friend told the hubby to get a lot of spit built up before he put the pill under his tounge, it has helped to keep the desolve time down to less that what you are going through.........Good luck and way to go sending the UPS man away with the pills...........

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier, I was out shopping. Anyway, I put the pill (8mg) under my tongue first thing in the morning and it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to dissolve. I've heard people say it tastes horrible and it takes a long time for ir to melt under their tongue. Luckily I don't have that problem. I wonder why it's so different for different people.
I'm really glad you have found help and that it's working for you.This is the end of day 6 for me, and I still feel good. I'm slowly starting to learn life without pills and taking it one day at a time, which is not my nature. As an addict, I want everything to be "fixed" right now. But it took me a long time to get to this, so I have to tell myself it's going to take time to heal.
Please keep me posted as to how you're doing, I'd love to hear how day 4 works out for you. I can't get enough information on this stuff and to hear personal experiences with sub.

Thanks for answering my post. Actually, due to the Suboxone I didn't even think about sending the Hydro's back untill the UPS guy had been gone foe about 5 minutes. Then I had a breif thought... (OMG! What did I do!) Then I came back to earth and knew I did the right thing. Felt pretty damn good about it too! My only problems now are that I am still having a hard time getting to sleep, an occasional headache and a bit on edge (Over Hyperactive) But, thats nothing compared to what I was doing before. I finally sat and thought... If I put as much time, Thought and effert into my "New" life as I did my addiction I know I can really do something great and worthwhile.
Last but certanely not least, I havn't had any booze since last thursday.
Ahhhh, Life is so good today.

Dear Mark I just wanted to add my support.I am still getting email from online pill places.I've deleted all pharmacies out of my PC and that was hard.But these doofs keep sending ads my way!!!!Anyways as I said I just wanted to add my support.I started the suboxone last Tuesday am & I haven't felt this good in.....wewll lets say along time.Just for the record.Do you realize that you Redd & myself are now RECOVERING ADDICTS?Doesn't that sound great?????mj

My sleep pattern did'nt come back to normal til about day 3or 4, I also felt a little speedy the first couple of days and after I take the sub in the mornig I feel a little energy burst. Its funny becausse I've heard alot of people say they are tired. Your sleep should return to normal soon, maybe tonight.
As for the booze thing, that is great. You know not to drink on sub right? Luckily thats never been my problem, so I'm OK with it.
I cut my source off as well, and boy was she surprised. That girl made alot of money off me.
