Hi Everyone!!! I have'nt posted for awhile. It's been crazy at work and I'm just exhausted all the time. I hope you guys are all right though. I have a problem at the clinic. I had an allergic reaction to the detergent I use on my job and my Dr. prescribed vistari. Well, I did everything legal and proper. I took my prescription into my counsellor to get it approved before I even filled it. They only approved it short term because the "clinic Dr." said it wasw a potentially addictive substance. I only too a few of them because they knocked me out and I could'nt take them at work. But anyway, I came up positive for benzos on mu drug screen and I have'nt taken any benzos. My PDR says vistaril is in the benzo family but does'nt actually say it's a benzo and drugfind.com pretty much says the same. My counsellor says she called the pharmacy they use for UAs and they told her vistaril was a histamine not a benzo. So then I asked her, "Were there any histamines in my drugscreen?" She said they only check for unapproved substances. Y'all! I aint' had no benzos since my last coke binge months ago! What should I do. They're dropping me a level. Besides, it's the principal!

You know you are never going to win with the clinic ,but from everything I know and read about vistoril tells me that it isnt a benzo but increases the effect of
painkillers and benzos.

Did you bring in your script and show the clinic what you were prescribed before the UA? If you waited until it came back dirty and then let them in on it- well they hate that, and will tell you you shouldve let them know what you were taking .
I let the clinic know everything that Im prescribed in advance to avoid sh*t like that. Even though your probably right they hold all the aces ,it sucks but that part of the mdone clinic bullsh*t.

Hey, Jackofstreetsmarts! Long time no see! I've been just killed at work. It's the busy season. Everbody wants to come to the mountains and watch the d$%&$ leaves change color! Sorry it took so long to reply also. I hooked a printer up to my pc and froze my pc up somehow. But....after several cups of coffee and a pack of camels, I got it fixed! I did take my scrip in before I took any and it was approved short term. This ua was only 1 week after it was approved and I had only taken 2 out of the bottle. I'm thinking maybe it was a false positive. You're right, though. You can't fight them. They're just like those cable guys. Just give them what they want so they don't cut you off. And I thought I was done with drug dealers. Good Night. Shirley
