Does tylonol with codine come up as an opiad on a drug test? Is it possiable for a preg. girl to take 10 table in 2 weeks and have the baby test positive for opiads? this is the story my neighbor's daughter gave her....of course the neighbor didn't even know that she was preg..
Well now..... it would only show up in her baby if she used nearing the end of pregnancy. I'm Sorry but, this is just a dumb question no dopes going to store 9 months in the body "don't people know that?". If she was not far along enough to know she was pregnant no way in hell it will show at the childs BIRTH!. As a side note however often women are tested at there 1st pre natal appoitment yeah it could show up then if the appoitment was within a week or so of using. Hopefully she'll wise up before the baby arrives. I lost my kids to addiction it's a sad road to travel. May she seek help now to get a handle on this issue.
Thanks for the answer. Actually, the girl took the pills for a root canal (this is the story anyway!) about a week before the baby was born. My friend, the girl's mother, didn't know that she was having a baby! The girl is not what we may calll the sharpest tool in the toolshed. My friend is caring for her husband who is in his final months with brain cancer so I actually understand why she needed to believe her daughter....emotional overload! the baby was taken away and given to the 17 year old father and his father who is a major drunk but you know the system........booze is legal so he just needs to cut back....those drug users are just bad stupid people.....give me a break.......

I was confused I thought you were saying the child's mother did not know she was pregnant. In any case if it was a legal script from her doctor she can prove in ANY court she was not abusing it and it was from her doctor for a medical reason. Sounds like there is something more to this. Sad story childrens services can be a real b**ch to deal with.
