Hey Rach,

That's fantastic -- I don't think you post much anymore, but in case you check in, just wanted to pass my congratulations along as well. You've been there for me off and on the Board and I am truly grateful for your sobriety and program.

RACHEL>>>>>>CONGRATULATIONS! You have been such a good friend and inspiration to me. I am so proud of you. The approach you take to your program and the manner in which you share it is inspiring and just what many need to be led into the rooms.

Thank you for showing us there is more than one way to get the job done! You are a shining example of the positive side of AA/NA.

YOU ROCK MS. L.A. WOMAN!

Go out and buy yourself some new shoes to celebrate this milestone! LOL :-)
Hi Rachel - 9 months? That's great news! I can always tell from what you write and the support you offer to others here that you're working a solid program of recovery...I really admire that! Keep up the good work! Jim
Thanks you guys. What an awesome thing to read first thing in the morning. You guys are great. I am very lucky to know you all. My life is so good today, it is beyond my wildest dreams. The Promises are coming true for me and for that I am very grateful. Thank you all for taking the time to post.

Love,

Rachel

Rachel..I'll never forget when you and I first posted. You are someone I listen too. You just make sense.

CG:

You, Toolman and Tinydancer were the people who got me through the rough ride of withdrawls. I'll never forget you for that. I came here because I was on Disability because I could not get sober and I could not get loaded anymore. I was in a constant state of detox. You reminded me of that. Mentioning sobriety early on reminds me of that. I didn't come here to make friends, I didn't come here because it had "just" gotten bad. I came here because I was dying, the wheels had fallen off, I was desperate. I didn't want what I had and I was willing to go to any length to get and stay clean. This was not my first rodeo. I had detoxed several times before but I never had gotten as sick as I did this time. I was frozen stiff. I could not move. I was paralyzed and in so much physical pain as a result of a hard narcotic habit. MAking friends on this board was a byproduct of getting and staying clean. What a gift of sobriety.

Thanks for reminding me.

RAchel
